About Our Organization

Ujjwal Pratishthan, Ambajogai has been established in the year 2005 with lead role of educated, committed youth Mr. Uttam Wadmare of Ambajogai. He used to participate in social activities in the area since his college life and on being inspired by the thoughts and the contribution to the society by known social reformers, he decided to work more intensively and effectively with focus on the area. He then registered the above named organization legally along with other colleagues. The organization has started it's activities in 19 villages in Ambajogai taluka of Beed district with primary focus on women empowerment, women & child health, legal awareness, women SHGs & self employment, rural sanitation & agriculture development. It believes in participatory approach and team work for achieving. It's objectives. It has it's office at Ramabai Chowk in Ambajogai and has team of educated, experienced voluntary staff workers along with village level volunteers to plan, supervise and implement activities/ programs of organization.
